"Integral with the vision of a life at harmony with the magnificence of nature that
I nourished throughout my artistic growth, I have attempted to produce and present those very images in a manner that preserves and promotes that very vision, utilizing nature kind tree-free fibers whenever possible."

All of the images in the Elementals Galleries and the Image Archives are available as fine art digital prints - also known as fine art giclee prints - printed on some of the most exquisite archival fine art watercolor and photo papers to emerge on the planet.
This method of printing allows Michael, as an artist, the greatest control over the final print in the evolving Digital Photographic Lightroom while allowing the use of a wide range of fine art papers, in the case of the fine art watercolor papers made from tree-free, mostly cotton fibers, resulting in an image that in both tone and material is integral with the original vision, of a splendour that is harmonious and kind.
Our preferred selection of papers include these the highest premium fine art tree-free papers available today:
Moab Entrada Rag {Bright White or Natural watercolor papers}
Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Pearl {their classic cotton paper, with fine semigloss coating}
Moab's Kozo {new mulberry based, Japanese washi}
Hahnemuhle's Bamboo {new 100% bamboo paper}

A further note on papers:
After testing the wide spectrum of fine art papers over months, Michael's long time favorite Entrada came out tops still for fusion of elegance and dynamic color range in a fine art watercolor paper, while the Photo Rag Pearl approaches its elegance, drawing Michael back to a gloss like print for the first time in ages. Both are the pinnacle in image quality in a fine art print.
The newly released Kozo and Bamboo meanwhile approach Michael's long term dream to produce his imagery on truly eco papers. Both the mulberry Kozo, produced along traditional methods in Japan, and the Bamboo are created from fast growing, easily renewable plant fibers, without the chemical intensity of the cotton industry. At last, the means to praise the nature without delivering it a blow in the process!!
Michael continues to experiment with the visual alchemy of a variety of different papers with an eye to new releases, do contact direct should you have curiousity or a special request.

All images not designated as a limited edition series are available as open edition prints. They may be either ordered straight through the shopping cart system on the same preferred papers and to the same level of quality as the limited edition prints or custom ordered to alternate sizes on a wide range of fine specialty papers.
While they are equally invaluable as unique works of art, the difference with open edition prints, in being open to a theoretical unbounded distribution, they may not offer the same future resellable value as limited edition prints do, which appeals to many art collectors.

The prints self-printed by the artist are printed full frame at 7' x 10.5', 12' x 18', or 16' x 24' with virtually no cropping of the original image, leaving a roughly 1" border of the paper's white that reveals the fine textures of the fine art papers.
The larger wide-format prints are likewise printed full frame at virtually 20" x 30", and 24" x 36" sizes, give or take a few millimeters, depending on the image. They also have a one inch texture revealing border.
The artist sometimes likes to leave a portion of this border still revealed when matting and framing to allow the print its full elegance, at others matting just over the edges of the printed image.
