An important update about ordering through the Sacred Elements site!!
Any image online is able to be ordered as a fine art print, greeting or shrine card through the shopping cart system. Just click on any image that strikes you in the galleries and follow through the drop-down menu on its own image page.
All print orders come by default as print-only orders, archivally packaged in plastic sleeves with an archival backing board or foam core for the smaller prints, and secured around poster rolls for the larger prints. They are all packaged securely for safe transport. For custom framing options, see below.
Greeting cards come with an eco Evergreen 50/50 (a 50% Bamboo/50% post consumer recycled) envelope.

Elementals uses a stripped down, extra-zen version of the open source Zen Cart for its checkout process, utilizing Paypal for accecting secure payments. Payment by credit card or bank transfer is conducted secure through Paypal's site. Elementals does not receive any payment information during the checkout process, only order details and confirmation of payment.
Alternately, for custom orders, shipping quotes for mounted or framed prints, international orders, or just by customer's preference, one may email one's order straight to us at orders@sacredelements.com with your special request and a quote will be sent as soon as possible accompanied with a link through which a secure payment may be made through Paypal.
Payments are also accepted by money order or check (though off island checks may take a week to clear). Just send order details by email or post, posting the money order or check, payable to:

All domestic orders, with the exception of large oversized or framed prints, are shipped by default by US Postal Priority Mail (3-7 days) within the US. This is as expeditious as UPS or FedEx 2nd Day Air from Hawaii to the mainland at often under half the cost.
Oversize or framed prints are specially shipped by UPS 2nd Day Air with a usual actual 3 day shipping time to the mainland US.
Elementals ships international orders by US Postal Global Priority Mail. Please email for international shipping quotes, or with any special requests.

Elementals has a standard table rate shipping charge at 11% of each $50 increment in order price, with for example a $5.50 mimimum charge for orders up to $50, a $11 charge for orders from there up to $100, and so on...
(Note: Our cart's shipping module has been glitchy recently, occassionally applying just the minimal $5.50 to orders irrelevant of size. We are working on it, however, should this occur in the meantime, a mail will follow with actual shipping costs and a link to complete payment. Accept our apoligies for any inconveniences this may cause.)
Our shipping policy aims for simplicity and fairness, covering shipping and handling expenses for lower cost orders while covering most of Elementals expenses for shipping larger print orders via the more affordable US Postal Priority Mail option without having to provide quotes on an order to order basis.
The percentage, it should be noted, becomes more favorable for the customer for large orders, due to the additional time and expense in packaging securely and shipping wide-format prints, with the extra bonus of UPS 2nd Day Air from Hawaii.
The only exception to this is for oversize framed prints, which are professionally packed out of house for foremost protection. A custom price and time quote will be emailed in such cases. Expeditious 2nd Day Air is still provided.
Note that UPS or FedEx 2nd Day, with their more advanced step-by-step tracking methods, are still available for smaller print orders by special request for those that prefer.

All prints are specially printed with care by the artist himself. They are crafted works of art and not mass produced internet wares. As such, times of order fulfillment are always dependent on the artist's current work schedule and stock of supplies.
In most cases, if the artist is not out shooting abroad, a personal order confirmation and a time quote will usually arrive within 24 hours, unless the artist is off island. Please allow 2-3 days for custom shipping quotes upon order confirmation, and an average of 1-3 weeks for delivery of prints from Hawaii. Please allow more time for custom ordered papers or framing.
Should Michael be away shooting in the field, a special notice will be sent at the time of order notifying should he be away for a prolonged period of a week or more. Communcication with a delivery estimate will be sent promptly upon return or by an assistant in special cases. In all cases, we endeavor within our means to provide prompt direct communication of the time frame necessary to fulfill an order. All orders are prioritized and fulfilled as soon as possible.

All prints can naturally be ordered as custom matted or framed direct from the artist. Elementals uses all archival materials of the finest quality, opting for a simple elegant look with archival white matting and black wooden frames. Our print only default policy is for ease and economy of delivery from Hawaii, though there are aesthetic concerns as well.
For framed prints, many may wish to consider to have their prints framed by a local quality frame shop, as much to match the actual space in which the print will be displayed - to visually choose from various framing options - as for minimizing shipping expenses.
The cost and time involved in shipping a framed image versus a print alone from Hawaii, where the artist resides, may be prohibitive for some, while framing locally can make several sizes accessible.
Those wishing to receive a finished art piece, ready to hang, produced from start to finish with care and a generous dash of love by the artist himself, merely indicate and your wish is yours.
